The adapter is only VHS, VHS-C (Compact) DVD at full size.
Your options are
1) Find a Video8 camcorder with AV cables and you get an analog / digital (Pinnacle - Dazzle, Roxio, Hauppauge, Canopus, among many others) and scan it yourself ...
or
2) Contact a local transmission of video and make it do what you need ...
