Swing Set Stain Wooden Swingset On Grass Versus Wood Chips?

Wooden swingset on grass versus wood chips? - swing set stain

We bought my son play (2) a wooden swing /. I've seen this used on grass and wood chips. I would like advice on what is best and why. Even if you think that wood chips are for the future you have information which I consider an area of wood chips, a grass () and is also uncomfortable for bare feet? With the turf, I need to treat the wood with something special, because the sprinklers are beaten every day (the wood has been "contaminated" already)? Thank you all!

If you decide to build on the grass, here are some positive and negative.

(POS) of grass will help to drop a pillow, if that is the case.

(NEG) will also leave Lawn is green on the shoes and sandals / flip-flops that can be transferred to the carpet in the house.

(NEG) The grass beats in the vibrations that are difficult to make the maintenance of a healthy and green. arounsd because of all the compression of children playing the swing.

(POS), the grass is cool as temperature sensors, so it seems much cooler for kids to play

(NEG), which will make it harder to the grass with a swing on the road cut. When we did the grass around the wooden supports of the swing, whip, the leap to the wooden supports so that light damage in the season.

I come from a background of 30 years to qualify in commercial and private landscape, only to my answer here.

Bark positive and negative

(POS) with the proper use of the SIze peel 1 / 2 "to 3 / 4" size would be the right size on a wooden swing ll set.If Way 'suggest that you dig at least 6 to 10 inches of soil will help with socket installed at least 10 "from the crust of children blowing a chance to swing, swing downwards or upwards. allabout Do not worry any errors in the cortex, because there are more bugs in the grass in the cortex of the sport, the more we have all the ants in the bark and grass, the on where you live.

(GNA) is the bark back to her seat on a playground, and although not too many people seem to be the lazy side, with the hectic pace of modern life.

If you take some of your lawn to make a crust during the entire swing want, it's pretty simple.

Their first game outside of the head and the spray of the lawn in the area of the proposed, but be sure not to a head, always in maintaing the grass Active Wear. This can easily be achieved by modifying an ez Nozzels, for example, if youmisused to regulate the bark of will. Use 2x4 pressure-treated wood for this application, because it will take much longer to be buried in the earth.

Well, I hope this helps with your decision if you need further assistance with questions you about your question and answer.

Take care

The disadvantage is that the grass is worn down when the system is widespread, especially in the bottom of the slide, swing, etc. .. Then at the end with mud. It is also a task of reducing the total and cut around all the damn posts! The good news is, it's cheaper. If you choose another material for themselves, I would recommend the use of wood from landscape to wood form a wall around the area to keep everything in. I think there are many different options for wood chips available and working for you. Go to a place in the landscape and see what they offer.

I do not recommend wood chips. I work in a school and we have chips in our playground. There are so many reasons why I hate them. First, worse, that allergies, because mold tends to grow in them. Secondly, they hurt when the children enter. You get all scratched. Finally, she put off her shoes and put their feet. I was always difficult for them filled and bled. You will not be able to go barefoot, would be very unpleasant.

I would not like wood chips, mainly because it was for a serious cause splinters and abrasions, if your baby.

There are new products designed specifically for use in the playground, the designed --- I think it's out of old tires, so it is soft, not broken or needs replacing doen 't stain, etc.

If you do not want to spend the money, the baton of grass and wood treatment.

Go with grass, wood chips bring a lot more mistakes than the grass and not to an increased risk of termites eating mention the swing too. The grass is less painful when your child accidentally falls off the swing and easy to maintain.
